Why I'm Riding

Why?

Why Not.
I'm 50 years old so if not now, when?
This is an opportunity for an adventure of a lifetime along with raising awareness and funds for
Big Brothers Big Sisters.

I am very fortunate to be married to a wonderful woman who gave me full encouragement when I broached the subject with her of a cross country ride. The conversation went something like this;
Me: "Steph, You know how I've wanted to ride my bike across the country? Well, I found a company that handles all the logistics and I would have SAG support if there was an emergency".
Steph: "And..."
Me: "And I'm thinking that I would like to give it a try."
Steph: "How much does it cost?"
Me: " Alot...but if you dollar cost average it over 50 years, it's cheap"
Steph: " How long will it take?"
Me: "About 2 Months with travel to LA and return from Boston"
Steph: "So, You would be gone for 2 months, that's worth it. Go for it."
At first I thought that I had the most loving, understanding & supportive wife in the world, then I realized that it is worth alot of money to get me out of the house for 2 months☺.

In 2003 I started riding. My son, Jeffrey, who was 13 at the time, joined me to train and ride Cycle Oregon.
Spending a week on a bike with my son was priceless. Rain, Snow, Wind Storms and Heat...What a great week.
Cycle Oregon is billed as Americas Best Bike Tour and I would agree 100%. Cycle Oregon travels a different route every year and covers 400-500 miles in 7 days in the beautiful Oregon. Stephanie and I have ridden Cycle Oregon together 6 times since my 1st year with our son and it always the best week of the year. This cross country adventure will be just like Cycle Oregon, just repeated 8 weeks in a row.

This adventure would not be possible without the freedom given me by working in such a great industry. I will have my Netbook with me on the ride and thanks to the help of my office staff, Kelly, Betty & Justin, my clients projects will not miss a beat during this ride.
What are your marketing needs? Give us a call, You'll be glad you did.

Being able to do this ride while promoting awareness and raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters makes this Cross Country Ride all the more special.

I hope that you enjoy the daily blog and join me in this adventure.

1-2-3 Adventure!
